FAQ: Why did my Portfolio upload fail?

You may have reached the storage capacity on your Portfolios account. If you have tried to Export submitted work to Portfolios from Assignments>Activities without success, please try to upload from your Portfolio>My Files.
If your My Files storage capacity has been reached you should receive this messaging: Upload of "file name" failed: Uploading this file would exceed your disk quota. Try deleting some files you have uploaded.

You will need to clear space in your My Files in order to upload new items. As directed by the message, delete unneeded files.
Maximum Storage Capacity
Increase planned for late-July 2025: increasing to 200 MB
Prior to late-July 2025, the maximum storage capacity for Portfolios is 50 MB. You can confirm your available space by adding the size of files that are in Portfolios>My Files.
